DreamMaker of Aiken Wins “Enhancing Lives, Improving Homes” Award
DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen has named J.D. and Cheryl Norris, owners and operators of the Aiken, SC franchise, the recipient of their 2022 “Enhancing Lives, Improving Homes” award.
“We were so excited about winning that award this year because earlier this year, we changed our local company’s Mission Statement to say: ‘Striving for Excellence while Enhancing Lives and Improving Homes,’” said J.D. “It is a really good feeling when the goals you set out to make an impact with are actually recognized by others, encouraging us that we are indeed on the right path to reach those goals.”
The judges said they chose the franchise for its “problem-solving ability, professional attitude, and going the extra mile with follow-up.”
They noted what one client said, “One thing that really offends me is unpleasant, foul language coming from the mouths of people who are working. I can proudly say that not one time did I hear any language from anyone on the DreamMaker team that was even remotely unpleasant. I am grateful that I had an opportunity to work with DreamMaker. They made an impossible unpleasant task seem easy. Thank you DreamMaker for being there for me when I needed you.”
All franchise owners and their employees adhere to the company’s “Code of Values,” which emphasizes customer-first designs and remodeling efforts.
“Our Code is not just something that hangs on the wall; It’s a living, breathing philosophy based on timeless principles,” says Doug Dwyer. “This means that we conduct our business completely above-board with honesty all the way,” adds Dwyer. “For us it’s not about seeing how quickly we can get someone to sign a contract and finish a job, we set expectations and live up to them.”
