Franchisee support is highly important to us at DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen. At a high level, franchisees enter a complete coaching ecosystem: a dedicated franchise coach, department-led training through our various training modules such as Foundations Prep, Foundations Core, Week in the Life training at a running location, ongoing virtual roundtables (production, marketing, sales, etc.), and annual in-person events like January Workshop and Reunion.
But one of the most practical and accessible parts of that training system is what we call the DreamMaker Learning Center – our internal Learning Management System (LMS). This hub was built to help franchisees find answers, train teams, and keep moving forward with confidence.
Support You Can Actually Use
Franchisee support is important to us at DreamMaker,We so important that we made sure to created a learning platform designed to be accessible 24/7, so you can find what you need when you need it. Whether you learn best through watching, reading, or doing, the Learning CenterMS includes video lessons, PDFs, and interactive
training modules that support a “learn as you grow” structure. It’s designed to meet franchisees where they’re at in the real world.
Franchisee Toolbox: Courses, Resources, and Support
The Learning Center is organized into business areas so franchisees can quickly locate what they need. Areas that are included are:
- Production
- Sales
- Marketing
- Operations
- Financials
- Leadership
Along with structured training, it also includes relevant articles to help franchisees stay informed on design trends and remodeling industry news. This way, so learning isn’t limited to just our internal resources, but the training stays connected to what’s happening in the industry.
Lauren Opara, operations coordinator and day-to-day manager of the Learning Center, describes: “The resources that we have include guided courses you can follow and test your knowledge, as well as relevant articles and documents, and printable resources that franchisees often choose to put on the walls of their Design Center offices.”
Specialized Training
DreamMaker’s Learning Center doesn’t leave franchisees guessing about what to do next. It provides specified training to help owners and their teams move through common hurdles with confidence. Inside the Learning Center, franchisees can access courses such as:
- Office Manager Training
- Lead Carpenter Training
- Technology JobTread Onboarding
- Marketing Manual Overview
- Social Media Best Practices
- Client Research Report
These trainings help franchisees avoid reinventing the wheel, and reduce the trial-and-error that can slow growth.
Built So You Don’t Start from Scratch
For franchisees, the value becomes real the moment they log in. Amie Page from DreamMaker of Utah Valley shared that the DreamMaker Learning Center surprised her the most during onboarding: “It’s been really helpful, to be able to go on there and access anything that we need.”
She points out what many first-time franchise owners feel: you don’t always know what you don’t know…until you’re in it. The Learning Center helps bridge that gap with tools and training that are already built and ready.
“If we need to find a vendor… or we’re hiring an office manager… it’s been really great to just jump on the Learning Center and everything is already on there,” Amie said. “We didn’t have to reinvent all of that.”
Training That Fits Reality
DreamMaker franchisees come from many backgrounds often outside of the remodeling industry. That’s why the Learning Center includes curriculum for different roles within the business, including office managers, lead carpenters, and sales/design team members.
Renee Crews, franchise coach and training specialist, explains that for office managers the curriculum helps them understand the daily operations within a remodeling business. She shares that the Learning Center “gives them the foundation they need to be able to effectively and confidently manage the office.”
The DreamMaker Learning Center also includes assessments for owners and employees, allowing courses to be assigned to users. This allows owners and managers to see progress and identify learning gaps so issues can be addressed before they become costly mistakes. As Renee shared, one lead carpenter was struggling to pass quizzes in a specific area. The system revealed the gap early, and additional training was provided before a mistake was made in the field.
Ongoing Learning, Even After Hours
DreamMaker’s support doesn’t stop when the workday ends. The Learning Center is there when franchisees need answers fast.
“If they have questions on a weekend… or they have a burning question at 3 a.m.,” Renee says, “that’s where the Learning Center becomes especially valuable.”
Even better: virtual roundtable trainings on production, marketing, and sales are uploaded into the system, so franchisees can revisit past sessions or catch up on discussions from before they joined the network. It’s another way DreamMaker helps owners avoid learning everything through trial and error.
Support That’s Structured
The Learning Center is a powerful tool, but it’s only one part of DreamMaker’s larger promise: you’re not left alone. You’re supported with real people, real training, and real systems.
Or, as Renee puts it: “It’s not just a ‘figure it out yourself’, or ‘watch this module’, and then be done with it. It’s enhanced with opportunities for virtual learning that is live and collaborative.”
For potential franchisees looking for a brand that truly equips its owners, DreamMaker’s Learning Center is just one more example of the comprehensive training and support we offer our franchisees.
